CASE INSENSITIVE UNIQUE ROWS IN PENTAHO
Today’s blog is about case sensitivity i.e. whether a string is uppercase or lowercase in which we try to overcome this particular issue using Pentaho’s data integration tool KETTLE.
The following steps will give you a brief overview on how things are done.
1.Initially we took three sample datas and summed it up to a dummy step. So we have all the data from different sources at one common place now.
The following screenshot shows the summed up data.
2.Secondly we take in a Unique Rows step where we have taken the input from previous step and in the Ignore case tab we have picked ‘Y’. This suggests you have allowed case insensitivity.Previewing the data we have the following screenshot.
